OFFICIAL AND FINAL GUIDELINES AND GENERAL RULES OF MUSIKAHAN FESTIVAL 2010

A. REGISTRATION

  1. The competition is open to all school and/or community based groups from the provinces, cities and municipalities all over the Philippines.
  2. All Entry/Registration/Waiver Forms should be filled up and submitted to the Festival Secretariat on or before the due date.
  3. Entries/Registrations may be submitted to the City Tourism Office, Beach Volleydrome, Rotary Park, Pioneer Avenue, Tagum City. Entry forms can also be sent through fax at telefax no. (084) 370-1424 and/or email to tagumcity_tourism@yahoo.com.
  4. Entries will be identified through numbers by a raffle system.
  5. Withdrawal of participation should be in writing and send to the Festival Secretariat TWO (2) WEEKS prior to the festival period through fax (084 370-1424) or mail @ tagumcity_tourism@yahoo.com. Failure to do so shall mean disallowing the schools or organizations from joining our future events in Tagum City.
  6. For the Pasiklaban Battle of the Bands ELIMINATION, the members of the Board of Judges shall have the right to determine which genre the band performance belongs. In case the number of entries for the elimination does not reach the projected entries, the judges can recommend the reduction of categories.
  7. In case entries will be less than five (5) per event competition, only best winner will be declared.
  8. All protests or complaints regarding the violation on the mechanics or qualification of the contestants should be done in writing before the decision has been announced.
  9. Judges’ decision is final and irrevocable.

B. ACCOMMODATION

  1. The organizer shall provide a convenient school-based accommodation.

C. REHEARSALS

  1. Rehearsals and blocking to any competition shall be arranged by the delegation’s official coordinator with the Festival Secretariat for proper scheduling.

D. SAFETY AND PRECAUTION

  1. All competitors and/or participating teams must observe safety precaution at all times during the performance.

E. CLAIMING OF PRIZES

  1. Only the official coordinator/conductor whose names are indicated in the entry form are allowed to claim the prizes upon presentation of valid IDs.
