DATE OF COMPETITION                :                       February 19, 2011, 7PM

  1. GENERAL RULES         
    1. The competition is open to all school and/or community based singing groups;
    2. The competing group is compose of four (4) singers, either male or female or mixed gender, age 16 years old and above.
    3. Each group is allowed to have at least two (2) instrumentalists for accompaniment.
    4. Competing groups should render two (2) songs of any genre and language.
    5. Allotted time of performance per group should not exceed ten (10) minutes including entrance and exit. A deduction of two (2) points in excess of every minute or fraction of a minute.
  1. EVALUATION
    Tonal Quality (flexibility of voice, intonation & range)  40%
    Harmony (blending & balance, phrasing)   30%
    Mastery (dynamics, technique, interpretation)  20%
    Deportment (general appearance, discipline & uniform) 10%
    Total   100%
  1. PRIZES. The following cash prizes for the winning singing groups are at stake:

First Prize                          P15,000.00 plus Trophy
Second Prize                     P10,000.00 and certificate
Third Prize                        P  8,000.00 and certificate
